Events are special temporary leagues that players can participate in and often compete in to win prizes by completing certain objectives. Events can range from a few hours to several months. The specific objectives and event modifiers or gimmicks depend on the type of event.
Races are a type of short-term event typically requiring players to reach a certain level or complete a certain objective (e.g. killing a specific boss) as quickly as possible.

Rewards
Achieving top placements in races is the only way to obtain special Demigod unique trophies.
Itemised race rewards can be obtained through a Remove-Only stash tab at any time in a permanent leagues, or after 1 month elapses in a temporary league. They can be converted into a microtransaction through the /convertracereward command; this process is permanent and will destroy the item.
Some events may also reward players with either guaranteed microtransactions or raffle entries for microtransactions or real-life rewards.
