Trials/ascendencies

When in doubt: over level the zone, grab your next powerful passive nodes before you go in.

Sanctum (Trial of the Sekhemas) in general

• don't play melee
• avoid curses that make rooms unpredictable ("You are not always taken to the room you select", "Afflictions are unknown on the Trial Map")
• the merchant is in the chest room at the end of every floor
• path to rooms that have more than 1 connecting room so you have more choice instead of being forced into only 1 next room.

Ascension 1 (sanctum 1 floor)

• ~lvl 25
• grab any upcoming big passives
• try to have 20% move speed and decent damage

Ascension 2 (trial of chaos)

• ~lvl 45
• spend some currency on decent damage and defense (resists, life, ES, regen)
• relics: get a bit of honor resist

Ascension 3 (sanctum 3 floors)

• ~lvl 75
• find the lowest area level you can on the Djinn Barya that grants passives
• invest in good gear, about 50ex-1div
• 30% move speed on boots
• Relics: aim for 90% honor resist, 10% move speed, additional rooms revealed.
• floor 3 boss: watch a video on the phases. be patient and just run/dodge. run around outside of arena when he's jumping to spread out sand pit slow areas.

Ascension 4 (sanctum 4 floors)

• ~lvl 85-90
• upgrade or add a few more relics
• damage and defense should be solid, easily clearing lvl 79-80 maps, killing map bosses quickly
• floor 4 boss: watch a video before you go so you don't waste an hour getting to him to die quickly
